I embrace life. I am carefree but harmless. I am playful but serious. I am complacent but not indifferent. I am a bowl of contradictions, but that's the first thing that makes me interesting.

 Word for the day: NEW

We can learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull.
Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

What's Cooking?

Jay is currently downloading "Kitchen Confidential." Another US TV Series that will fill Jay's computer memory. Hopefully, I'll get the episodes from him next week (plus the freshly downloaded episodes of The OC, OTH, DH2, Alias5, Prison Break, Supernatural, Rome, etcetera...). So now, i'm doing my research about Kitchen Confidential.

Right now, Kitchen Confidential has 3 episodes aired on Fox. So what's the fuss all about? Well, it's not like the Iron Chef with its weekly special ingredient. It's not like one of Oprah's segments on healthy food, nor another Wok With Yan cooking show. It's a story about Food, Sex and Life.

"Kitchen Confidential" is based from the autobiography of Anthony Bourdain (played by former Alias star Bradley Coooper). Jack's determination to be the top chef in New York. Though blessed with culinary talents, he was also into women, booze, and drugs. After hitting rock bottom, he began working on a pasta place, but eventually, was offered a job as the head chef in a new york restaurant... Blah blah blah.

Kitchen Confidential is being produced by Darren Star (Sex and the City) and Dave Hemingson (Just Shoot Me!). Exposing the secrets behind the kitchen counter, Kitchen Confidential wants to hit the top of the food chain.
Hmmm... The show is pretty interesting. I hope to be inspired by this show. Maybe I'll take up cooking lessons next year. Bon Apetit!
