Quisine

Back to the 80's music at Quisine... well, i guess Quisine is an 80's bar all along. Before Quisine it was Dreambar, before Dreambar it was called Giraffe.Nice place to hang-out if you want to hear "real music."

We went to Quisine last Friday for Khahn's despedida. After inviting more than 30 people, only 4 of us came. Gizelle, Jason, Jona and I. Hmmm...

They sang songs from my highschool prom. Songs that makes you sing-a-long, songs you've heard before but never knew who sang it or what the real title is. I made a couple of requests like Sade's Smooth Operator and any rendition of Waiting in Vain. I was hoping that they would sing some Barry White songs. Some songs I remembered, in which the band played, was Let's Stay Together by Al Green, a song from My Best Friend's Wedding, and You've Got That Lovely Feeling (Top Gun song).

Before the night ended, the band played Living on a Jet Plane for Khahn. Then the night became really weird when Khanh started dancing... Ha! But then, the people next to our table stood up and danced as well. Who would have thought that Quisine was a party place.

We left around 2am. I wasn't drunk, I only had 3 beers that night.
