I embrace life. I am carefree but harmless. I am playful but serious. I am complacent but not indifferent. I am a bowl of contradictions, but that's the first thing that makes me interesting.

 Word for the day: NEW

We can learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull.
Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

Uhhmmm... Duh?!

I spent around 6 hours inside the assembly line doing my video time study. I was with 3 operators, 1 techinician and Joan (from training). It was really hard doing the VTS. I have to wait for the lot to finish, i have to follow the operator, i have to observe the tool, and more observations. The plan is to do the video time study in 2 days, and come up with an analysis by Wednesday. Usually, when new procedures are added, i have to get a lot of samples. But duh.... Around 2pm, Rey was already asking for my analysis just in time for his meeting. I said no of course. Then he asked me how much capacity to commit. I told him to wait for me to finalize the study. Duh?! Then Mike Maliwat dropped by my cube around 3pm and was asking the same thing. Duh?! I don't rush my work. Tapos ako babalikan pag mali sila. BULL!

Anyway, i got out of the assembly line around 630pm. But i need to be there around 7am again to check the start of shift activities. I hope to wake up early! Wala na akong intern to help me out.

And since I'm talking about work, Jona and I observed that one of our co Area IEs just sits around his desk. I remember Vince telling us that we need to spend at least 5hours a week inside the manufacturing area. Tsk tsk tsk. I hope that this would give a blow on his performance review.

As for me, i have to close my projects and presentations this year. Just in time for focal. I didn't get what i wanted last year (an O rating). Right now, i'm doing my focal write-up. I have to summarize my mid-year focal write-up and added a couple more achievements. Then i need to start working on my IMEC paper with Jesse. Sheesh... Busy busy busy.
