Cocoa Puffs In Between

Accountability is in question for a lot of issues. There are also opportunities that we want to pursue. But we have to LIMIT ourselves on the activities that needs to be done. Take note, some activities should be done, logically, by some people.
Sometimes, it’s our customers' accountability, and even their responsibility. We are looking at these opportunities of course, but with all the “far more urgent and important” issues, prioritization must be done.
Moving forward, if there will be prioritization that conflicts with our original plans, we must inform our managers so they would know what ties up our time.
As far as paradigm shift is concerned, everyone in will be doing it (and not just us). It’s not something that will happen overnight or in a matter of weeks. The paradigm shift can happen in different areas because we are marching towards it in different directions. We need help from our managers on which to prioritize first, because we cannot spread ourselves too thin trying to manage everything at the same time.
If some people are telling us to do this and that, take note that we won’t see all opportunities out there. It’s a continuous learning experience.
All in all, it takes TIME and COMMITMENT not just from our part, but also from the STAKEHOLDERS. Everyone is being asked to do a complete turnaround on how things must be done, which might not done before. We are stepping up to these challenges, and at the same time we want to maintain our credibility , answering issues based on tactical concerns (which are Urgent and Important at the same time), and a lot more. We want to grow first in our basic job area and slowly evolve as the best in the future.
Some items must not be tagged as alarming rather it should point us in the direction we would need to prioritize. We should work to check & correct each other. Check and Balance, that's how the universe works.
From everything that you're currently doing right now , and with additional work being directed to you, ask yourself and your manager: which one should be done first and which one should be done later? There's a need for a clear direction on what to prioritize first so that you won’t be all over the place working on a couple of items at the same time, with limited bandwidth. You must not undermine data quality results.
Time, Commitment, Prioritization, Limited Bandwidth... And some cocoa puffs in between.
