I embrace life. I am carefree but harmless. I am playful but serious. I am complacent but not indifferent. I am a bowl of contradictions, but that's the first thing that makes me interesting.

 Word for the day: NEW

We can learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull.
Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

Dilbert-Like Days

1. I finalized the Video Time Study for NGCAM ASTRA. I had my initial assessment and saw 20% degradation. I still need to prepare a presentation for Friday's meeting. Take note: Usually, for new tool configurations, it'll take a week before an analysis + recommendation comes up. But just after the first day of my video time study, Rey is already asking for the results. Duh! So right now, i need to finalize a presentation - MORv Results for Dummies.

2. I have to prioritize the VTS so i was unable to send the initial data to Agnes. I HAVE TO FINISH THIS PROJECT BEFORE THE YEAR ENDS. More like my last blow before the Focal Review. I haven't started my IMEC paper as well!

3. Annie Deng was such a hard customer to please. Well, probably because she's from Finance. She'll join the ranks of Kellogs Cocoa Puffs and Hanna Barbera in the firing squad. They only see the dollar impact of each project. If the project can save money, then they want it implemented NOW! What they (all FINANCE folks) don;t understand is that there are several technicalities that needs to be addressed first. Haven't they heard off project management? Probably they need more stuff to calculate so that they can include it in their Focal Assessment. I wonder, they might put, "driven the $2Mu savings for NGCAM." Duh! What they did is to just compute the savings! I can do it as well, i took Engineering Economics, Accounting and Managerial Accounting in College! Ready, Aim, FIRE!

4. ERSAhan with Brian Krizanich will be next wednesday. I volunteered to be the CMO IE representative. Then i saw the list of representatives, and i'm the youngest! Though i am now a Senior IE (am I?) in our group, i still need more stuff to learn. But probably what the "oldies" need are fresh ideas. Experience is the key, but where's the risk taking in that? I studied organizational development in College so i believe i can ask "intelligent" questions on Wednesday. Huhummmm....

5. FOCAL! Last Focal, i was quite unsatisfied with my focal assessment wherein i was only rated as successful. This coming focal, i'm still aiming for an Outstanding rate! People might say that i'm over confident, but hey, with the issues that i closed for the year and the projects that i worked at, being rated as Successful again is an understatement! It;s not really about the raise (who am i kidding) but i believe i deserve better this year.

I'm sleepy, i need to hit the sack!

Notes when i wake up - Try wearing socks after wearing undies. Hahaha! Or is it undies then lotion then socks? Or is it called "a socks." Wahahaha!
