plans

if you've been reading my blog for quite some time, you might see the common themes: how i love my boss and how i love my work. my boss knows that i have a blog. but only a couple of people knows the blog address. the internet offers free speech. but i know that once my boss reads my blog, he'll probably kill me. well. maybe i'll share my blog to him in the future. but not now. so jay, jona and van... let's keep this blog link a secret. baka ako ikiskis nila mukha ko sa sandpaper tapos gawin akong siopao.

my career plans. a month ago, i told my boss that i want to be the next EIT IE. i laid out my plans, the trainings that i need, etc. he gave his inputs and told me he would help me out. but it's been 1 month, and i'm doing all the upskilling and plans. i was looped-in in ATD/EIT activities, became the JIT chair, calibrating with EIT, working with the new systems that i'll be using in the future, working with the ATM Systems group, etc. Eh siya? he told me to enroll in "Working in America" class. Uhmmm... Errr.... I just said yes to end the conversation.

now i'm changing my plans... plans IF i stay here at Intel. If i won;t get the EIT job, i'll work with my connections in ATM Systems if i could work for them. I had enough of tactical work aka kiss-ass work for Hello Kitty and the Sanrio Group.

anyway, some things that a lot of people does not know...

around May, i told everyone that i was thinking of resigning. After a 1:1 meeting with my boss, he was pissed off (read my previous blogs). He said na "kawalan" ko din naman when i leave kasi wala akong work pag nagresign ako. Di ako tanga! Why will i leave if i don't have a new job. Philip-Morris offered me a job already but i declined the offer (i don't want to start as a trainee and told them to contact me if the position that i applied for opens again). Duh?!

Aside from that, i received 2 calls from different companies around August/September - Ford Laguna (Jona, hindi Laguna Beach USA, Laguna Philippines); then there's this never-heard company. I declined their offer again.

I'm working on 2 Plans. Plan A is within intel, Plan B is oustide intel. I have Plan C but I'll start working on it next year pa. I hope Plan B works.

bahala na. what's important is that i do have plans on where to go, what to do. the only question is when will these things happen.
