I embrace life. I am carefree but harmless. I am playful but serious. I am complacent but not indifferent. I am a bowl of contradictions, but that's the first thing that makes me interesting.

 Word for the day: NEW

We can learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull.
Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

Don't Go Trigger-Happy

Every day you will hear people say that they want to change. They want to wake up early for work and not be late. They want to eat breakfast instead of just having a cup of coffee and nicotine. Quit smoking, drink alcohol in moderation and stop their addiction from shopping.

Everyone wants to change. But people cannot let go of their past just like how a zebra cannot scrub his stripes off.

There is nothing wrong with change. But do not fool yourself by saying that you will be a better person when you changed. We always have these wishful thoughts but let’s leave them in dreamland. It takes more than self-discipline to change. It’s self-determination.

Do not regret your past. It makes you who you are today.

The main problem that you will face when it comes to change is the people around you who will constantly judge you for your actions. Believe me; they will be there when you slip off from your plans. They are like vultures prying on your every move, waiting for you to give-up, getting ready for the kill by telling you the I-told-you-so speech.

Why can’t people just be happy that you want to change?

Remember this, change is good but change is hard. Never give up, never give in. You’ll hear constant heckling so keep a shotgun at reach. But don’t go trigger-happy because these so called life-suckers will just make your life more miserable.

If you want to change, then go for it. You do not need affirmation from your friends.
